Vehicle navigation system for 2014 Kia Sportage KX3. My nav system's GPS has gone off. I am missing a clock and the coordinates of my current location on the map. The radio is functional, and the map has been updated. Even after involving the local dealer, I still haven't received a satisfactory response from Kia. Everything was running smoothly until the upgrade. Genesis 1 platform. We welcome any ideas. Yours faithfully.

What about pressing the reset button (usually a pinhole next to the volume knob)? It should work for most models. I believe the Gen5W has a setting where you may specify the number of satellites it detects. I am not familiar with prior models. Have a great time!

It is much appreciated that you responded so quickly. I have tried both the pin hole restart and the 30-minute battery separation, yes. So far, no luck.

After holding down the screen for a while, I can access the dealer page. Then, I enter the code 123456, which displays an information screen that shows, unfortunately, that there are no satellites.

I would be surprised if this didn't happen during the software upgrade; otherwise, I'd suspect a problem with the GPS antenna or connection.

Lloyd South Lakes, a local Kia dealer, put out great effort to assist; they contacted Kia, who responded by stating that the item is no longer supported!

I also had an issue where I accidentally downloaded the wrong version. After going back to the downloads page and entering my vin number, the correct download was found. Now everything is working well.

I really value the suggestions you offer. I have followed kia's recommendations on multiple occasions when downloading and uploading in the car. Lloyds South Lales, the local Kia dealer, has even given it a go, but so far, no luck. Thanks a lot, that's great.
