Yesterday, I visited the main dealership in my area, and the sales manager tried to upsell me on the MK2 C-HR, even though I'm not really keen on it right now.

It would seem that the MK2 offers a far superior driving experience, wouldn't you agree?

In terms of technology and driving dynamics, it's a far more refined experience; nevertheless, this is just personal opinion. During my test drive, I switched from a 1st-generation to a 2nd-generation vehicle, and the difference was immediately apparent.

Because the Mk1 was released in 2016, its design and technology are eight years more advanced, I would assume that the Mk2 would be superior in some ways.

My current vehicle is going strong, and I have no plans to upgrade until it's five years old in April 2027.
I considered getting a newer model last year, but I didn't think it was worth it because my current vehicle has very low mileage and I usually like to get a whole new one.

After five years of enjoying the mk1, I upgraded to the mk2 eighteen months ago, and I must say, the two cars couldn't be more different in terms of driving experience. I am really pleased that I made the switch.

How intriguing! I appreciate the feedback and may give them a go at convincing me to take a test drive.
