I recently purchased a CarPlay adapter from Aliexpress; simply connect it to a USB port, pair it with your phone, and voilà. No more wires, connects immediately upon entering the vehicle, all for just over £4.What is there to disapprove of?

It appears to have increased to £12.39; mine was £4.19. If you seek one, you will likely acquire it for approximately the amount I spent.

This item is suitable for vehicles that have wired CarPlay or Android Auto and is compatible with 99% of automobiles produced post-2016.

I possess a marginally pricier model in my vehicle, which operates effectively 95% of the time; occasionally, I must disconnect and reconnect it for proper recognition, likely due to my phone's Bluetooth connectivity with the non-CarPlay component of the head unit. I utilise a vintage cigaret lighter USB charger to power my phone (for brief excursions, I forgo this).
