Audio 20 equipped with UCI

I recently acquired a 2010 A207 (E-class convertible, although it is essentially a C-class...) featuring an Audio 20 with a built-in CD changer. The LastVin datacard indicates that it includes the Universal Communications Interface (Option 518). Does this solely function as Bluetooth, or can it also facilitate music playback from a USB drive or SD card, and if so, where is the corresponding connection? I have searched, yet I am unable to locate it...

Could it be one of the USB ports located in the armrest?
You must have checked the glove compartment (the most logical location), so that would be my assumption.

In my 2012 E350, I connected an iPod classic to the 'Media Interface,' which I could activate vocally using Comand.
I possess it in the E400 as well.

The glove compartment is empty, and the armrest contains nothing.

I possess the identical car audio system as you. The vehicle is devoid of any USB ports. I have utilised a cable from the Aux port in the glove compartment to connect to my phone while travelling. This weekend, I purchased a jack plug to USB, which allowed me to connect a USB stick that I could Bluetooth to my phone. It was ineffective, thus I turned to the cable. I utilise my iPhone to play music; however, CarPlay is not compatible with the car's installed features.

It is the most inferior aspect of the vehicle, yet undeniably appropriate for the technology of its era.

The vehicle's Bluetooth functions adequately for phone connectivity, and the former owner utilised a device that plugs into the 12V socket to transmit music via an FM signal to the radio. The solution is not particularly refined, yet it is effective.

Nevertheless...

Upon examining in daylight, I have discovered what appears to be a media interface connection concealed within the glove compartment, shrouded in shadow at the upper rear center of the vehicle, orientated downwards, thus obscuring visibility of the internal contacts. I am unable to conceive of any alternative possibilities, however. If that is the case, all I require (he stated with optimism...) is the appropriate cable and a USB drive, and I will be able to play my music via the head unit.
