Will pentosin lose its efficacy as we get older? I was wondering if there was any use for a partially used tin that I discovered in my garage. I would say it's around three years old. Appreciative of input.

After three years in an unsealed container, pentosin CHF 11S will have oxidised or absorbed moisture. I would throw it out if it were brake fluid, but I'm not sure if it's hydraulic fluid or not, so I'd definitely throw it out if it was both, haha.

Could CHF11 be okay as it is water-based? I'm not sure, but it does seem watery.
