Hello everyone, I am contacting you regarding a 2016 E220 that is currently experiencing some troubles. The mileage is 90K and the car has been serviced an average of 8,000 times.
1 It gets terrible gas mileage—40 mpg at 70 mph on a 40-mile highway run.
2. On occasion, it won't have any power whatsoever, but when you go to grab other people, it's fine.
It's also not nearly as cold as my previous online class.
Up until this point, the intercooler, new boost hoses,
Requires EGR but lacks DPF
This has resulted in somewhat better mpg, but not significantly better.
I have my doubts regarding turbo or swirl flaps.
There are no error codes that I am aware of.
Regarding my launch system and Chinese xentery, I am unable to locate a means of testing the swirl flaps.
I'd appreciate any advice you have before I waste more money trying to fix it.
You’re only seeing the surface.

It doesn't matter how much power it produces anymore since it isn't road legal, MOTable, or insurable. Other criminals may disagree and offer an explanation, which will likely include claiming that it's all guesswork without the fault codes that your scanner isn't picking up on but should be there (unless hiding them is the coding out of mandatory components), but I won't!
Best of luck.
Best of luck.

Perhaps it would have been more appropriate for you to clarify that in your post. Are you really claiming that you swapped out the DPF for a straight pipe and tested it that way? That would have caused the ecu to develop additional problems. Leaving it in its current state once you've drawn it out won't reveal anything.

Inasmuch as it was unclear that you had restored the components, your response is unnecessary; they are neither ignorant nor useless.
Splits in the intercooler pipes are hard to notice until the engine is running, and the symptoms you're describing can also be caused by turbo actuators.
Has a genuine Xentry system been used to scan the vehicle?
Live data readings are useful quite a bit.

There are more important things to worry about than whether you removed your dpf or egr or whether it's legal or not. The world is at war, so I don't care.
Are you sure you got it checked by a qualified Star diagnostics technician? Swirl flaps or a problem with the map could be the cause? Additionally, a leaking boost pipe
