Re: Odd Behaviour of the 12V Battery in MHEVs

Yeah, it's quite peculiar. I would never trust my CX-90 with a screw driver from Harbour Freight. It's likely that the Viking is establishing a satellite connection with the Chinese Communists.

2,000 miles ago, I had my oil changed and tires rotated. My 12v battery was the mechanic's main concern ...

Re: Odd Behaviour of the 12V Battery in MHEVs

My best guess is that the Viking charger messed with the car's software that controls the battery life, but I have no idea what happened. It appears like these new cars have a lot of built-in diagnostics and failsafes. Might the 48V inverter be acting as an integrated trickle charger for the 12V ...

Re: Damage to the 5 Series F10's chassis and a dead spot in the steering

Long trips on the highway were exhausting in my f11 520d, so I understand the frustration of constantly having to correct the steering.

One side of my lower arm had a little play in the ball joint, but it was barely noticeable. There was a little change due to alignment. Plus, I had the steering ...

Re: What a ridiculous service!

You don't need either of them; a paper receipt will do.

Water seepage... or a break in the ground connection could occur.

Re: The panoramic sunroof on my W205 won't open.

While someone pushes up and back on the side that isn't lifting, you'll need to manually open the roof with an Allen key. Greasing and sliding are inevitable. It would be ideal if the two sides could ascend and descend at the same time. It will slide on the cable once it's up, so you can keep going ...

Re: The panoramic sunroof on my W205 won't open.

A new set of runners, tubes, and maybe even a motor will be needed for this, unfortunately.
The runners are available separately from Mercedes, which is a relief.

The cables will stretch due to infrequent use and an absence of lubrication. It appears that the events are now occurring in reverse ...

Re: Could someone please assist me with these two issues?

Greetings! A worn-out bearing could be the initial source of your problem.
The second issue you might be experiencing is that your thermostat is probably stuck open. In comparison to Audis, Vauxhalls and Opels are far more familiar to me, so I can't say for sure.
I hope this is useful.
