I would guess a later model car, maybe with a B47 engine, as it will be a taxi. You should replace the oil more frequently than suggested, particularly if you do a lot of short excursions in your cab, because these are more dependable than N47. Perhaps every 7k isn't such a terrible gap after all ...

Since it is an MB dealer and part of the same parent business as Marshalls (Constellation Automotive), they will use whichever of their facilities is most convenient and has the necessary capacity. Yet, I'd be astonished to find an MB "stamp" in the logs.

Approximately how many months has this problem persisted? You must have occasionally detected the odour of DPF regen, right? Find out how often the car currently regenerates if it's the same or comparable.

While I realise this doesn't address your question specifically, I did park the car seats in the third row. Even though my kids are old enough to jump in there on their own, I can easily reach across and fasten the car seat.
