I noticed it before it caused a flat battery on my W204 because it was always parked in a garage, which I am constantly entering and leaving. pump for water? That's what happened on my e46 330d: I couldn't locate the leak, so I checked the water pump. A wobbling, viscous fan indicated that it was working, so it would be worth a go, but I'm not sure your car's setup is different.

If you remove the wheel and measure the diameter with a tape measure, you should be able to determine the size of the rotor because there is a discrepancy of 24mm.
Take the calliper and rotor off and measure it precisely if you're still unsure.
