Re: Problems with the Cooling System

If you have the proper tools—like a main dealer or an MB specialist—to read it, the error code will be stored. Did you buy it from a dealer? How long have you had it? You have the right to refuse the item without cause and receive your money back if it is less than a month old and purchased from a ...

Re: Squeaking at low speed while fully locked into the right side?

Although it is difficult to diagnose without seeing or hearing, CV joints typically create a noise at low speeds while engaged in full lock. If this happens, you should take your vehicle to a Toyota dealer.

Re: Squeaking at low speed while fully locked into the right side?

The clicking sound at full lock could be the CV joint wearing out.

Re: What exactly is this broken component of my X4?

It's probably sketch number one in the attached file, and it's an arch liner. Since I had no idea how old you are when I randomly selected x4, you shouldn't consider that portion number as gospel.

Re: The temperature of the coolant for the M340D

After getting a replacement sensor, everything is OK; my brother had the same issue with a Vaxhall Insignia a few years ago, but that was with a different vehicle.PS: Invest in a real sensor; using a fake one will be a waste of time.

Re: A possible oil spill

Before I changed the timing chains, I did replace the crank seal. The source of the leak was my goal when I applied some UV dye. It must be emanating from above the alternator, because I can feel it. I will test the effect of a different VVT sensor. Much obliged.

A possible oil spill

Great to see you all, little people. An impenetrable riddle has beset me. There seems to be a significant leak around the dipstick tube in my mini. Everything ends up in a jumble as it falls to the floor. However, the only time it lets go is when the engine is working hard. In order to prevent ...

Re: My sat nav unit isn't showing up on my W212.

My best guess is that you're using COMAND NTG4.5 with the built-in SatNav as the photo shows an SD-Card slot on the bottom left of the head unit.

Your car isn't compatible with the Becker replacement unit, and you won't have Audio20 with Becker Map Pilot.

Methods 1 and 2 in my earlier post (but ...
